Jacksonville FL Homes for Sale

About Jacksonville

Jacksonville has much to offer – whether you like older historical homes and areas, the beaches, riverfront, golf course communities, or planned developments – you can find it right here in the River City. This is the place for those interested in outdoor activities. Our mild winters make it easy to be outside all year long. If your interests revolve around golf, the beach, tennis, boating, fishing, or just tooling around the antique stores you can have it all here in Jacksonville.

Finding a great place to eat after a day of outdoor activities or an evening at the movies is easy a
s well. I like the 3rd Street Diner at the beaches, Al’s Pizza at Five Points in Riverside, The Loop for pizza and burgers, and Vito’s for the best Italian in the city. For that special dinner be sure and try BB’s, the Wine Cellar, Matthew’s, and Biscotti’s.

Florida is the state for football and Jacksonville is no exception.
We have the NFL’s Jaguars in Alltel Stadium, minor league baseball Jacksonville Suns, Jacksonville Barracudas Hockey team, various College Bowl games and the Gator Bowl Classic featuring the Florida-Georgia football yearly match-up.

With the opening of the St Johns Town Center shopping is now on the map. We have all the big stores, Macy’s, Tiffany’s, Dillard’s, as well as Coldwell Creek, Dicks, and the Apple Computer Store. Truly this place is Jacksonville’s Disney World of shopping. In addition to three regional malls and outlet stores in the area, there are numerous eclectic shopping areas around town.  Bring your check book!
